There has been titanic battle between Sheriff Oborevwori speaker of Delta state house of assembly and former chief of staff to governor Ifeanyi Okowa over the authentic governorship candidate of the state.
The Abuja federal high court a few weeks ago sacked Oborevwori and directed PDP and INEC to replace Oborevwori’s name with David Edevbie.
According to reports, INEC has received the court judgment and written to PDP to act accordingly. But as at the time of filing this report, it is not clear if PDP has acted as directed.
On Saturday, July 23, Delta PDP will be holding a mega rally at Ozoro where all the PDP bigwigs will be present.
As usual, party members make posters showcasing the party candidates for the forthcoming election.
But so far, all the posters being displayed on Facebook, no one shows the party has a governorship candidate.
All the posters are showing Okowa, PDP chairman and other candidates.
