Ahead of 2023 general elections, Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Delta North senatorial candidate, kicked off his senatorial campaigns on Monday, 7 November 2022.

Prince Ned, addressing the massive expectant crowd at Idumuje Unor, Aniocha North Local Government Area, heartily appreciated his ward, ward 8, an amalgamation of Idumuje Unor, Idumuje Ugboko and Aniofu, for their unwavering and consistent support for the PDP, since the inception of the party, and expressed confidence that they will not let him down, come 2023.

He reiterated the importance of voting and particularly urged the people of Delta North to vote for PDP, for the restoration of peace, security and development in Nigeria.

“I want to be a productive Senator and for this to happen we must have PDP all the way,” he added.

Prince Ned, who is fondly addressed as “Star Prince of Anioma,” by locals in his ancestral base, implored the people to support his candidacy and pledged to join forces with the key party leaders to bring more developments and empowerments to the grassroots.

He stressed the need to vote for PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and his running mate, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, pointing out that they have the competence and exposure needed to take the nation to a better position.

As he continued addressing the massive crowd, the Delta North PDP senatorial candidate enjoined the people to vote Rt. Hon.Sheriff Oborevwori, as Delta state governor, come 2023, in order to enjoy all the benefits of democracy.

Ned, who has in many ways, empowered his people, was warmly received by already awaiting mammoth crowd of eager community dwellers, as he toured from ward to ward.

In addition to the towns that made up his ward, the PDP chieftain also visited Ezi, Obomkpa, and Onicha-Ugbo.

The campaign flag off was well attended by the party’s high profilists, including; Delta state PDP deputy governorship candidate, Chief Monday Onyeme, Aniocha/Oshimili House of Representatives candidate, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, Aniocha North House of Assembly flag bearer, Engr. Emeka Nwaobi and Delta North PDP chairman, Hon. Moses Iduh, amongst others.

While speaking with journalists earlier at the Asaba international airport, the Anioma born international lawyer and doyen of the Paris club refunds that saw Nigeria out of recession, promised to bring pride to the people of Delta North when elected to the red chambers of the national assembly.

The billionaire Chancellor of the first ever sports University in Africa and legendary philanthropist noted: “l have been looking forward to this campaign and election. I want Nwaoboshi to come out from wherever he is hiding and tell Anioma people what he has done with their trust since he became their senator.

“All he has brought to them is disgrace and diversion of what is due them. I am ready to show him the way to political retirement if he comes out from his hiding place “.
