Senator Ede Dafinone, representing Delta Central Senatorial District, has congratulated renowned legal luminary and elder statesman, High Chief T. J. Onomigbo-Okpoko, OON, SAN, on his 95th birthday, celebrating his contributions to the legal profession, administration of justice and preservation of traditional values.
Dafinone described the nonagenarian as an eminent legal practitioner, revered elder statesman and distinguished Senior Okakuro of Okpe Kingdom, whose life and career exemplify honour, integrity and dedicated service.
In a congratulatory message marking the milestone, the senator highlighted Onomigbo-Okpoko’s distinguished record in the legal profession, particularly his service as a former Chairman of the Body of Benchers and his recognition as a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).
He noted that the celebrant’s contributions to the administration of justice and the preservation of cherished traditional values had established an enduring legacy worthy of recognition and emulation.
Dafinone also acknowledged Onomigbo-Okpoko’s standing as a respected figure in Okpe Kingdom, noting his significance as a traditional leader and elder statesman.
