Nasir El-Rufai, the Governor of Kaduna State has begged the people of Kaduna state not to vote for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the forthcoming 2023 governorship elections.

He said this while speaking in the Ahmadu Bello Stadium’ Gymnasium Hall where hundreds of people had converged for the launching of the New Finance Function in the state.

According to Nasir El-Rufai, if voted for, PDP would drag Nigeria to the problems of yesterday.

While asking them to rally around and vote for the person he would anoint as the state governor in 2023, the governor advised the Kaduna citizens to trust him in his choice for them.

Going further, Nasir El-Rufai alleged that if not for the headstrong disposition of previous Senators Shehu Sani and Suleiman Hunkuyi, development in Kaduna state would have outperformed the accomplishment achieved by his administration which the people of Kaduna are currently celebrating.

Using the just completed ultra-modern Kawo bridge as a case of study, the governor stated that credit should not be given to him alone.

According to him, credit should also be given to the lawmakers who assured the project had legislative backing, and also to the people of Kaduna state who supported his administration.

He added that Shehu Sani and Suleiman Hunkuyi’s action had hindered development and growth in the state, calling attention to that come 2023, individuals ought to be careful about who they vote to avoid bringing in elements that are enemies of Kaduna state who should be cursed.

” May Almighty Allah‘s wrath befall them,” El-Rufai prayed, amidst a thunderous Amen.
