The Youth Structure 4 Asiwaju (YS4A), also known as Asiwaju Boys and Girls, has congratulated its National Convener, Dr Michael Nwoko, on his appointment as Zonal Coordinator for Grassroots Engagement and Mobilisation in the South-South geopolitical zone of the 2027 Presidential Campaign Council (PCC).
The group described the appointment as a recognition of Nwoko’s commitment to grassroots mobilisation, youth participation and purposeful leadership, expressing confidence in his capacity to deliver on the new assignment.
In a congratulatory message signed by High Chief Godfrey Ogbeide, Secretariat Director of YS4A and South-South Zonal Coordinator of Policy and Strategy of the City Boy Movement, the organisation said the appointment was a moment of pride for its members.
YS4A said Nwoko’s new responsibility presented an opportunity to strengthen political engagement and expand grassroots participation across the South-South region ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
The group expressed confidence that his leadership would help bring stakeholders together, promote unity and deepen mobilisation efforts across the geopolitical zone.
It also noted that the appointment reinforced its confidence in Nwoko’s leadership and his ability to advance youth participation in the political process.
Nwoko also serves as Zonal Coordinator for Contact and Mobilisation in the South-South of the City Boy Movement, in addition to his position as National Convener of YS4A.
The two political mobilisation structures are associated with efforts to promote support for President Bola Tinubu and strengthen grassroots engagement ahead of the 2027 general election.
YS4A urged Nwoko to approach the assignment with integrity and dedication, while wishing him a successful and productive tenure.
The organisation further expressed the hope that his leadership would deliver results beyond expectations and strengthen political mobilisation across the South-South.
It reaffirmed its support for Nwoko, describing his appointment as an important responsibility and wishing him success in carrying out the assignment.
