Former Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha has successfully made it to the venue of the presidential screening exercise of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Okorocha, who was arrested last week by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC after a 9 hour siege at his Abuja home, had alleged that the arrest was to block him from attending the screening exercise.
However, on Tuesday, Okorocha was seen arriving Transcorp Hotel, Abuja, the venue of the exercise.
According to POLITICS NIGERIA, Okorocha had been in danger of missing the two-day exercise after he was arrested and detained by the anti-graft commission.
However, a Federal High Court in Abuja granted him bail on Tuesday morning in the sum of N500 million and a surety in like sum.
The former governor is being tried on a 17-count charge to the tune of N2.9 billion filed against him by the EFCC.
He has since denied any wrongdoing.
