After several calls by Nigerians for amendment to the Nigerian constitution to delete some parts and introduce new laws, the Nigerian senate has set May 26 and 27, 2021 to visit the six geopolitical zones.
The public hearing is aimed at getting the views of members of the public which will help the committee in charge of the constitution review.
In a publication made by the Senate, it is inviting members of the general public, government functionaries, civil society groups and professional bodies to the two day hearing on the proposed alteration to the provisions of the 1999.
