Aniocha North female monarchs synergize with Anioma Kings, declare support for Ned Nwoko

Following the glowing endorsement from Anioma traditional rulers (Obis), the Aniocha North female monarchs (Omus), have also declared their unanimous support for Prince Ned Nwoko, the Delta North People’s Democratic Party (PDP) senatorial candidate, in the forthcoming election.

The Omus endorsement, came, weeks after Nwoko had received double endorsements from the Anioma traditional rulers, both at the Azagba of Asaba Palace, and the Obi of Owa Palace, respectively.

During the official declaration at Mount Ned, Idumuje Ugboko, on Friday, 13 January, 2023, Her Royal Highness, Omu Theresa Uwadia, the Omu of Onicha-Uku, and the head of Omus in Aniocha North local government area, stated that, the Omus have synergized with the Obis to deliver Nwoko in the forthcoming senatorial election.

“This is a unanimous decision from the Omus in Aniocha North. Just like the Obis, whom we refer to as fathers have stated earlier, we do not have any other candidate in Anioma aside from you.

“You’re our hope and we are strongly behind you. Our prayers are with you anytime of the day. You have always carried traditional rulers along, and ensured their recognition in government. It will be unwise not to declare full support for you.

“We will back this declaration with action. As Omus, we control the markets. We have resolved to take the “gospel” to various markets in Aniocha, to spread your good work, and give the people more reasons to support you.” Omu Uwadia said.
