An All Progressives Congress (APC) leader in Delta North, Chief Emmanuel Eboh, has strongly criticized former Oshimili North Local Government Chairman, Hon. Louis Ogugua Ndukwe, describing his administration as “the worst in history.” Eboh also accused Ndukwe of engaging in “dirty politics” through what he termed persistent media attacks against Senator Ned Nwoko.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Eboh, who previously served as a commissioner in Delta State, argued that Ndukwe lacked the moral standing to question Senator Nwoko’s performance, insisting that the former council chairman’s record falls far below acceptable standards.
According to Eboh, Senator Nwoko’s achievements in the 10th National Assembly speak for themselves. He maintained that despite being a first-term senator, Nwoko has distinguished himself as one of the most committed lawmakers, contributing significantly to legislative development and constituency empowerment.
He said Ndukwe’s criticisms stem from “mischief and ignorance,” stressing that Senator Nwoko has gone beyond his lawmaking duties by delivering essential amenities, including roads, solar-powered lights, water projects, and school facilities, to various Delta North communities.
“Senator Nwoko has over 30 important bills to his name, alongside countless motions. He facilitated vocational training in China for several Delta North youths and has been a strong advocate for the creation of Anioma State,” Eboh noted.
He added that long before his election to the Senate, Nwoko spent more than ₦100 million of his personal funds rehabilitating the Onicha-Ugbo/Idumuje-Ugboko/Ewohimi road, and is currently working with the NDDC and federal authorities to ensure a lasting solution to the route’s challenges.
Eboh questioned Ndukwe’s legacy as a former local government chairman, alleging that he “achieved nothing” during his tenure and “abandoned his mandate” while staying abroad for several years. He urged the former chairman to draw lessons from the current leadership in Oshimili North.
On political ambitions ahead of the 2027 elections, Eboh said Ndukwe is “free to dream,” but maintained that there is “no vacancy,” asserting that Senator Nwoko remains “unstoppable by divine power.”
Eboh noted that whether Ndukwe’s attacks were self-inspired or externally driven, “such plots are bound to fail.”
