A Niger Delta group under the aegis of National Coalition of Niger Delta Ex-Agitators, NCNDE-A has called on the president-elect of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to, as a matter of necessity, appoint Hon. Abiodun Faleke as the Chief of Staff to the president.
The group noted that Hon. Faleke has the wherewithal to manage the affairs of the presidency with a nationalistic mind without let or hindrance.
This was made known by the National Coordinator of the group, Eshanakpe Israel, a.k.a Akpodoro in a statement issued in Asaba , the Delta State capital on Wednesday.
He stated that the office of the Chief of Staff to the president needed a character and personality like Faleke whom he described in glowing terms saying he is like a football midfielder who can manage with clinical efficiency the day to day activities of the presidency.
Akpodoro, an ex-militant leader who doubles as the Mayor of Urhoboland said, Faleke who is the Secretary to the All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential Campaign Council, PCC is most qualified to mount the mantle of a Chief of Staff describing him as a nationalist with a large heart to manage meander through the “sharks infested murky waters of Aso Rock politics.
Akpodoro noted that Faleke achieved as a member of the Federal House of Representatives and the secretary of a victorious party at the recently concluded presidential polls.
He stated further that, Hon. Faleke knows the president-elect deeply with understanding of his “body language” which he said is an empowerment for him to be appointed as Chief of Staff, saying he has shown sufficient capacity to man that office.
“By all standard, Abiodun Faleke is who the coalition can vouch for to be appointed as the Chief of Staff who can swim through the stormy waters of the seat of power. He is the best and most qualified to be so appointed,” the Mayor of Urhoboland stated.
