The presidential flag bearer of the peoples democratic party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar is currently in Washington DC in the United States where he seeks to share his vision for the country with Nigerians residing abroad.
A statement released by Atiku’s media adviser,Paul Ibe, reveals that ” the week long working visit will enable the former vice president to engage with business communities in the u.s and young nigerian professionals in north america where he is also expected to share details of his five point agenda with the people”.
The presidential candidate was not alone on his trip as he was accompanied by prominent leaders in the party and the presidential campaign council.
As reported by AIT, some notable figures who embarked on the journey with him are; the director general of the presidential campaign council, Aminu Tambuwal, the minority leader of the house of representatives Ndudi Elumelu, and the Deputy Director general technical and systems, Raymond Dokpesi,former senate presisent Bukola Saraki and former governor of Imo state Emeka Ihedioha,others are some of his personal aides and some members of the peoples democratic party.
