Bandits kidnap students from secondary school in Kaduna

10 students have been allegedly abducted by bandits from Government Day Secondary School in Awon, Kachia LGA of Kaduna State.

As disclosed by the Commissioner, Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, in a statement on Tuesday, April 4, the students were abducted on Monday, April 3rd. 

Auwan stated that the State Government received preliminary reports from security agencies regarding the kidnap of the students. 

I’m Aruwan’s press release,the preliminary reports states that the exact location of the incident is yet to be ascertained but detailed reports being awaited will clarify whether the incident occurred within the school premises or elsewhere.

 “The Government will issue a public statement accordingly when these reports are received,” the commissioner stated.
