The devastating flood has continued to cause mayhem in Bayelsa State.

The recent tragic scenario is the washing up of buried corpses at the Azikoro government cemetery in Yenagoa the state capital.

The unpleasant situation has raised health concerns among residents of the area over the contaminated waters and air pollution due to offensive odour.

The residents also want relevant authorities to immediately come to their aid to avoid public health crisis.
However the recovered corpses have been reburied as at the time of filing in this report.
