Senator Ned Munir Nwoko, the senator representing Delta North senatorial district, arrived in Bayelsa State on Tuesday, November 7, for the grand finale of the Peoples Democratic Party’s gubernatorial campaign rally.
The senator, along with other party chieftains, gathered en masse at Oxbow Lake, Swali, Yenagoa to show massive support for the PDP governorship candidate, Douye Diri, the incumbent Governor.
It’s worth noting that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State and Senator Ned Nwoko were earlier announced as members of the Bayelsa State National Campaign Council for the 2023 Bayelsa governorship campaign by the National Working Committee (NWC) of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
When announcing their appointments, Amb. Umar Iliya Damagun, the party’s national chairman, emphasized that the selection of these council members reflects the extensive support they enjoy within the party’s leadership and among all PDP members, acknowledging their exemplary qualities and significant contributions to the party’s growth.
Senator Ned Nwoko has joined other party faithful in Bayelsa as they prepare for the upcoming November 11 governorship election.
