Dr. Michael Nwoko, South-South Zonal Coordinator of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) for Grassroots Engagement and Mobilisation, has pledged to mobilise massive electoral support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Nwoko also known as The Political Oshobe gave the assurance after joining Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, APC leaders and thousands of party supporters at the flag-off ceremony of the Delta APC Campaign Council in Isoko Nation, describing the massive turnout as a strong demonstration of the party’s growing political strength and acceptance across the state.
He said the gathering went beyond a routine political ceremony, reflecting what he described as growing public confidence in the APC following its assumption of power in Delta State and the implementation of its governance agenda.
According to him, the massive mobilisation in Isoko Nation signals the party’s readiness to consolidate its political gains and translate its growing grassroots presence into overwhelming electoral victories in 2027.
Nwoko, who occupies a strategic position in the APC’s South-South mobilisation structure, said he would work closely with party organs, political stakeholders and supporters across the six states of the region to secure substantial votes for President Tinubu and the APC.
He specifically pledged to intensify grassroots engagement in Delta State, his home state, while extending the mobilisation drive to Edo, Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Cross River states.
“As the South-South Zonal Coordinator, Grassroots Engagement and Mobilisation of the Presidential Campaign Council, I will work assiduously with the party structure as well as its teeming supporters across the South-South Zone, including my home state, Delta, to deliver a preponderance of votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC in the 2027 general elections,” he said.
The Isoko campaign flag-off comes amid efforts by the APC to strengthen its grassroots machinery, consolidate its political structure and build a formidable electoral coalition ahead of the 2027 polls.
Nwoko’s pledge underscores the growing importance of coordinated grassroots mobilisation in the party’s South-South strategy, with Delta State expected to play a significant role in determining the APC’s electoral fortunes in the region.
