The leadership of the Bayelsa community in malaysia led by Mr. Kelvin Otele, who studied in malaysia, expressed total satisfaction with the pattern and ways the Diri Administration tagged Prosperity Government have initiated various opportunities in Human Capacity Development, State Infrastructure Projects, Diplomatic Engagement.
Bayelsa Community in Malaysia also benefitted greatly when the Governor agreed to meet with the Diplomatic Commission of Malaysia Embassy in Nigeria.
The prosperity Administration have put together a working friendly environment in Bayelsa state through Youth Engagement, growing smes in the state, political appointment, engagement of elder council and traditional ruler council, sustaining the structure and goals of Ijaw groups in Diaspora and across Nigeria, adequate security measures.
According to him,” Bayelsa and Malaysia both have palm oil and crude oil, we also plead with Governor Diri to facilitate the MOU signing between Malaysia and Bayelsa state to activate more development in the agricultural sector and oil and gas sector.”
