A militant group in Delta state under the aegis of Delta Strike Force, has said the pipeline surveillance contract allegedly awarded to Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, Nigeria’s deputy senate president and the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta state should be withdrawn and given to agitators in the state.

In an online message to Emerald News, signed by leader of the team, General Mass Killer, the agitators said the Nigerian government jettisoned their call for peace, hence the group is ready to stampede the federal government into reversing the contract or its men would begin the process of crippling the nation’s economy.

The group said if the federal government continues to turn blind eye to their demands, their men would blow up the Otorogu gas plant pipelines in Ughelli south local government area of the state. It said the essence of this action is to compel the government to yield speedily to their demands in record time.

Beside the Otorogu flow station, the group listed two other flow stations which it would crumble should the federal government fail to yield to their demands. The group mentioned Kokori and Erhaike gas pipeline which is owned and managed by the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC).

It also listed Ogini flow station as part of flow stations it is targeting to bring low should the federal government fail to accede to their needs. It says President Muhammadu Buhari should not be slow in planning to meet their urgent needs.

In the mail forwarded to Emerald News, the militant group stated among others their demands to the federal government. It says it is only in meeting the demands that destructive actions will not be taken against the stated oil installations in Delta state.

It says the group would hit the government hard until what is needed is done.

BELOW ARE THE STATED DEMANDS

  1. We demand that the pipeline surveillance contract of OML30 and 34 and other ally contracts be awarded us agitators immediately.
  2. We demand the FG fix the East West Road for easy passage of commuters.
  3. We demand that DSC Aladja must be resuscitated like the Ajaokuta steel company, bringing the same on stream to meaningfully engage Delta youths.
  4. We demand end to gas flaring in Delta state to end miserable life in our state.

5.The Urhobo – Isoko axis of the pipelines surveillance contract awarded Mr Ovie Omo-Agege must be withdrawn and awarded ex-militants from that corridor immediately.

Note: Anything short of the above will mean that we shall sustain our offensive until the pipelines are brought to rubles. We have the capacity to humble the Nigerian army and members of their families.

The pipeline surveillance contract of OML 30 and 34 awarded wrongly to Mr. Ovie Omo Agege and his younger brother Jimmy Agege must be withdrawn and same awarded ex-militants of Urhobo  and Isoko extraction.

Members of the Nigerian armies are advised to reject deployment to Delta State lest you leave in body bags.

Additionally and most importantly, Mr. Ovie Omo Agege and his co-travelers, NNPCL’s Mele Kyari and NPDC’s Ali Zarah should be held responsible for goading us in the offensive.

We shall trail all your family members wherever they are in the world. This war is total and we shall not leave any stone unturned until the right thing is done.

We call for solidarity and support from Nigerians particularly the impacted communities as we carry out these strikes to whip Buhari’s government to line.

Mele Kyari of NNPC, Timipre Sylva of State Petroleum minister, Ali Zarah and Mr. Ovie Omo-Agege should be held responsible for goading us into this.

The trio aforementioned should be held responsible by President Muhammadu Buhari and the service chiefs.

DELTA STRIKE FORCE fears no foe, and the war is total, and we shall shock this federal government until the untouchables ate touched.

Signed

General Masskiller from the Mangrove
