A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party PDP in Delta state, Chief Lawrence Agbatutu has been reported dead.
Ovie Success Ossai, one of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s aide made the announcement on his Facebook page on Monday morning.
He said: “We just lost Ughelli North PDP Chairman, Hon. Lawrence Agbatutu. May his soul RIP”
Only a few days back, Olorogun Kenneth Okpara, a former commissioner for economic planning and a 2023 governorship aspirant died.
Two members of the Delta State House of Assembly from both Isoko North and South died early this year.
Okowa’s aide, Mary Iyasere has also died a few weeks ago in Delta.
