After months of campaign and preparations for the long awaited governorship elections in Delta state, Sheriff Oborevwori, speaker of Delta state house of assembly has emerged winner of the PDP governorship primaries. He won with a total of 590 votes
The primary election was peaceful and without security crisis. The accreditation was done at the state event centre while the actual primaries was done at the Stephen Keshi Stadium.
Out of the 14 aspirants that were screened for the election, Olorogun Barrister Kenneth Gbagi opted out of the race following issues he reportedly had with Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
