The Delta North senator-elect, Prince Ned Nwoko, has received his Certificate of Return.
The certificate was presented to him on Tuesday, 7 March, 2023, by the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Mahmood Yakubu, at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.
Nwoko of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), polled a total of 92,514 votes, while his closest contender, Ken Kanma of Labour Party, garnered 86,121 votes, and Peter Nwaoboshi of All Progressives Congress trailed with 36,816 votes.
He was accompanied by his wife, Mrs Regina Daniels-Nwoko, his campaign Director, Contact and Mobilization, Dr Michael Nwoko, as well as a retinue of PDP members.
