Revd Francis Ejiroghene Waive, member of the House of Representatives representing Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Udu federal constituency, on Friday baptized members of his church who gave their lives to Christ
In a post he made on Facebook, he said he took them to Udu River and got many of them baptised to n water. It was surprising because many people did not expect him to do that having joined politics.
The post reads as follows: “Today Good Friday 2nd April 2021, I baptized by immersion at the Udu River many who have come to the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Many people who read the post congratulated him on the action. Many had thought now that he had joined politics and becoming member of the House of Representatives, he might not time for God’s business.
But he has proved them wrong by this singular a room of his. His church members must be very happy to welcome him to baptising them personally.
