CHILDREN’S DAY: Senator Nwoko Praises Dreams, Resilience of Nigerian Children, Calls for Renewed Commitment to Their Future

Senator Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, has reaffirmed his commitment to the well-being and development of Nigerian children. In a heartfelt message released on Tuesday, the Senator emphasized the importance of recognizing the potential and promise inherent in every Nigerian child.

“Today, we honour the beauty, promise, and potential of every Nigerian child,” Senator Nwoko stated. His remarks came as part of the nationwide celebration dedicated to children, highlighting their central role in the country’s future.

The Senator urged all stakeholders, government, parents, educators, and community leaders, to recommit themselves to creating an enabling environment for children to thrive. “As we celebrate, let’s renew our commitment to giving our children the tools they need, education, protection, and love, to build a better future,” he said.

Education, according to Senator Nwoko, remains the most critical investment in children. He called for increased funding for schools, better teacher training, and broader access to quality education, especially for children in rural and underserved communities.

Beyond education, the Senator stressed the need to protect children from abuse, exploitation, and neglect. He advocated for stronger child protection laws and community-based support systems to ensure that children grow up in safe and nurturing environments.

“Children are the heartbeat of any nation, and their well-being determines the strength of our future,” Senator Nwoko remarked. He also highlighted the importance of showing children love and support, urging families to foster emotional and psychological well-being in their homes.

The Senator praised the resilience and dreams of Nigerian children, encouraging them to keep aspiring for greatness. “You are the reason we strive for a greater Nigeria. Keep dreaming. The future is yours,” he said, in a message aimed at inspiring hope and ambition.

He reaffirmed his commitment to policies and initiatives that directly impact children, pledging to continue pushing for legislative reforms that prioritize child welfare and access to opportunities.

As the nation marks this special day for children, Senator Ned Nwoko’s message serves as a powerful reminder of the collective responsibility to nurture the next generation and lay the foundation for a stronger, more equitable Nigeria.
