Christian women send condolence message to Adeboye, say late son was fire brand youth minister in RCCG

By Gladys Ekwu

The prevailing Women Fellowship, Asaba, commonly known as Prevailers have been called upon to serve as prayer watchdogs to their husbands, children and the nation.

They also prayed that God will give Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), the fortitude to bear the loss of their son, Late Pastor Dare Adeboye who died on Wednesday.

The coordinator of the women prayer group, Pastor Mrs. Edna Pentecost, said this in a WhatsApp chat she put across to the members to remain steadfast in praying for their husbands.

According to her, wives are defenders of their husbands and children, while urging the group not to relent in their spiritual and physical defence on their families.

Pastor Mrs. Pentecost submitted that we are on a journey on the earth to go and spend eternity at the end in heaven or hell according to our work.

She noted that as Christians, we should strive to run the race before us with obedience to God so that we will spend the rest of our lives in heaven after death.

According to her, believers should see the death of righteous ones as transmission to glory as she prayed that Holy Ghost will comfort Baba Adeboye and his family over their son’s demise.

She prayed that the grace of God will be upon him and his family to continue the heaven’ s race with faith.

Pastor Dare Adeboye, who is one of the sons of Papa E.A Adeboye, would have turned 43 next month on the 9th of June, 2021.

Pastor Dare was a Husband, Father, Life Coach, Visionary Leader, Motivator, Bridge Builder and the first seed of Daddy G.O.

Commonly known simply as “Pastor D”, Pastor Dare was one of the most influential Youth Pastors in The Redeemed Christian of God Worldwide.

With posts previously in England (RCCG House of Praise Birmingham Senior Pastor), Kaduna (RCCG Kaduna 1 Provincial Youth Pastor & RCCG Region 8 Youth Pastor), and presently Abuja (North Central Youth Evangelist covering all the YOUTHS, RCF, RCCF, & PSF in the states of Niger, Benue, Kwara, Kogi, Nasarawa, Plateau and FCT) he understands and associates with the next generation of the church.

His various posts (RCCG Youth Affairs National & International Director of Programs / Chairman Organizing Committee of 70hrs Messiah’s Marathon Praise, National Youth Convention & Northern Zone Abuja SHIFT) have enabled him to comprehend the various landscapes of young people across the globe and how to increase the church’s influence.

He dedicated his life to educating and inspiring young people on how to capitalize their faith in the various environments they find themselves in.

He created opportunities for young people to feel empowered and prepared to carry the mantle of the church and also expantiate the church’s mission and goals.

His fire for God is easily caught and transversed to the numerous lives he touches. He is married to Mrs Temiloluwa Adeboye and they are blessed with three beautiful children

May his gentle soul continue to rest in the bossom of our Lord Jesus Christ. Till we meet again where we depart no more.
