Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra state has reassured that his successor remains a former governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Prof. Chukwuma Soludo.
Obiano said arrangements had been finalised to join the National Chairman, Chief Victor Oye at the Appeal Court that commenced hearing on July 28.
The governor said this after landing at the Anambra International Cargo and Passengers Airport, Umueri after a working trip to the U.S.
Gov. Obiano remarked that his landing at the Anambra Airport was smooth because the construction of the facility met international standards.
He reminded the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) party faithful to be hopeful, as the party would emerge victorious in the polls with Prof. Chukwuma Soludo.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), published the name of Chukwuma Umeoji, instead of Prof Soludo, citing a Judgment of a Jigawa High Court obtained by persons who claimed to be a factional candidate of APGA.
