Hon. Paul Oseji, who contested and lost the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Delta North senatorial primary election to Prince Ned Nwoko, which took place on May 23, 2022, has openly declared his support for Prince Nwoko.
Oseji drummed his support for Nwoko at the PDP campaign rally in Abavo, a community in Ika South Local Government Area, on Thursday, November, 17, 2022.
Nwoko, on sighting his onetime political rival, demonstrated simplicity and humility, as he walked towards Oseji and exchanged pleasantries. Such demonstration could be best described as ‘politics without bitterness’.
Oseji was vocal with his desire to see PDP win all five political offices, including the presidency. “5/5”, he stressed. To further convey his message of solidarity to the party, Oseji pledged to add N500,000 to the already promised N10million by Nwoko, and the PDP deputy governorship candidate, Hon. Monday Onyeme, to the ward with the highest percentage votes, out of the 98 wards in Delta North.
The PDP Delta North senatorial candidate, Nwoko, since his official campaign flag off, has been moving from ward to ward, building formidable grassroot force for PDP in Delta North.
The wards visited on Thursday in Ika South Local Government Area, are ; Ward 10 — Okpe-Abavo, Ward 11 — Igbogili-Abavo, Ward 12 — Imiele, and Ward 5 — Ekuku-Agbor.
