Delta Bayelsa, Edo top medals table at Edo 2021 National Sports Festival (Full list of participating states)
As at Wednesday April 7, 2021, Delta, Bayelsa and Edo, the host state top the medals table at the ongoing National Sports Festival in Benin City, the Edo state capital.
Delta had 10 gold medals, 7 silver and 4 bronze while Bayelsa had 10 gold medals, 5 silver and 3 bronze. The hosting state, Edo has 3 gold, 7 silver and 9 bronze.
From the table, Delta is topping the table, while Bayelsa is not ready to give in to Delta. It is pursuing very vigorously and putting up a good fight to overtake Delta.
Delta needs to up its game to win the trophy and beat Bayelsa hands down so as to maintain its position as the champion of the National Sports Festival.
