CAN secretary ukwani local government Special apostle Prophet Dr Michael Iyomere speaks out on the bias that Christian Association of Nigeria is portraying towards the approaching 2023 governorship election.
CAN Day held in Asaba on Monday the 26th of December and only the PDP governorship candidate Sherrif Oborevwori was invited.
Michael said ” In a CAN event, in order to encourage fairness all the governorship candidates should have been invited, the likes of Gbagi, Omo Agege should have been invited and prayed for equally, and let the will of God be done.
” I feel that CAN should not just be for one party, CAN should be able to accept all parties”.
At the end of the event, 26 thousand naira was shared to each bus that contained 18 persons but the Driver and some occupants of the vehicle blatantly refused to collect the money because they’re not ready to sell their votes”.
He said ” You see, people have seen the light, the time of selling votes has passed, even our old mothers, they have come to know that they should not sell their votes”.
According to Michael, the driver said I will not take PDP money because I will not vote for PDP.
Honesty demands that we don’t sell our votes”.
He called out the church “Men of God respect yourself and liberate Delta state from the shackles of corruption”.
