By Patrick Ochei

The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Health Monitoring and one of the political figures that delivered his polling unit and ward convincingly, Dr. Michael Nwoko has congratulated the Delta State Governor-Elect, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, and the incumbent Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa on the victory of PDP at the just concluded Governorship/House of Assembly Election in the State.

Dr. Nwoko gave the congratulatory message in a statement he personally signed to the media, to celebrate the new henchman who will be succeeding Governor Okowa on May 29, 2023, as Executive Governor of Delta State.

He affirmed that the both personalities deserve exceeding celebration for putting up a dogged fight that resulted in the PDP retaining the State as a ruling party.

Nwoko appealed to the incoming Governor to as much as possible, not take the love of the Delta State people for granted as he begins his MORE Agenda governance.

The man known as the Political Oshobe, attested to the fact of the street credibility influence of Sheriff Oborevwori and ability of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa in galvanising supports across all strata of the Delta society, as reasons for the overwhelming victory that the party had recorded.

He once again, pledged his loyalty to the party’s supremacy, indicating his unflinching desire to more than ever before, contribute his compulsory quota in making sure that Delta State progresses beyond its present status.

According to him, “Sheriff Oborevwori remains our project going forward. We have fought a good battle, and I know that God has destined this period in our history to uplift the youths and women amongst us.

“By his antecedents and based on his social contract with the people, it is evidently clear that Sheriff Oborevwori would sustain the legacies of Governor Okowa and by extension, introduce factors that will encourage incremental progress in the final analysis.

“We appreciate God Almighty that the right person, who is Godly in all ramifications has ascended the throne. Of course, the righteous will rejoice.

“I thank the Senator – Elect of Delta North Senatorial District, Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko for his untiring commitment during the campaign and Elections which lend credence to victory recorded by the party” special thanks to Deltans for the role they played during these electioneering processes. By God’s grace, we shall all celebrate with tangible accomplishments”, Nwoko stressed.
