Delta North: Nwoko’s past records place him above other candidates – Group

A political group,  under the aegis of Sheriff Political Movement (SPM), has revealed that the past records of Prince Ned Nwoko, the Delta North People’s Democratic Party (PDP) senatorial candidate, has given him an edge over other opposition candidates.

The group made the revelation on Sunday, December 18, 2022, during a courtesy call at the palatial home of the leading senatorial candidate.

They came, bearing hundreds of caps, with the inscription, “Thank God is Ned”, which they presented to Nwoko, as a show of support for his senatorial candidacy.

SPM is a political group whose members cut across all the local government within the Delta North senatorial district. Its main principal is Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, the Delta state PDP governorship candidate. Hence the name, Sheriff Political Movement.

They have, however, vowed to support other PDP candidates vying for other four political offices, by building formidable grassroot force for the party, to ensure 5/5 victory for PDP.

During the call, Hon. Nwachokor Joshua, Special Assistant (SA) to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, on political matters, and the coordinator of SPM group, stated that the past records of Prince Ned Nwoko, during his time in office as a member of House of Representatives, and his continous execution of philanthropic projects, have placed him higher above other opposition candidates. Nwachokor stressed that Nwoko’s act of benevolence to people will show in the forthcoming elections.

Senator Ned Nwoko and his unwavering commitment to Ndokwa Nation

In his words, “I have known you since your days in the House of Reps. I made you my role model, because your ways are worthy of emulation. A lot of people do not know this, but, you’re one of the reasons why a lot of state governors are up and doing.

“A lot of supporters are saying “Ned is Needed”, but we are saying “Thank God is Ned”, because, we are grateful to God that it is you who are going to represent us in the senate. Victory is sure.

“Your past records, in all ramifications, place you above other candidates. In fact, it is not out of place to say that you’re unopposed, because, other candidates are no match for you. I assure you that your act of benevolence to people will show in this coming election.”

Nwoko, just like he has done to other innumerable groups who have come to pledge their support for him, expressed gratitude and appealed to the group to also throw their support behind other PDP candidates, to ensure that PDP wins all five political offices, especially the presidency.
