Dr Chris Okobah, a political analyst and a social commentator, has reiterated the need to support Prince Ned Nwoko, the Delta North People’s Democratic Party (PDP) senatorial candidate, in the forthcoming senatorial election.

Recall that, Okobah, few months ago, had outlined the need for Delta North to support Nwoko, maintaining that, he is the best senatorial candidate in the 2023 election.

With two weeks away from the senatorial election, the political analyst, in a recent statement made available via his WhatsApp broadcast, has restated why Delta North should back Nwoko.

The statement read in parts:

“As we are getting closer to the general election, we need to make sure that the most credible and inclusively impactful candidates are elected. We need to send our best to represent us and that is why we must support and vote for Prince Dr Ned Nwoko.

“He is a man of eloquence, who can supply the oratorical gloss to finish legislation during floor debate. He has the important legal skills that make him a superb craftsman behind committee doors.

“It is sufficient that if we want to rebrand and refocus Nigeria, we need good Senators who will excel at protecting us, not for beneficial but as an unalloyed service to the people. He is a man with unadulterated solemnity to serve by representing the point of view of every Nigerian on issues of the day.

“Ned Is a man who adheres always to the dictates of his own conscience when dealing with issues. In one basic sense, any democratic government needs the distinctiveness of a Senator whose political pragmatism is well‐justified. The most striking single fact about Prince Dr Ned Nwoko is that he is a uncommon Nigerian.

“He is the cheerful pragmatist whose willingness to split the difference will always make it possible to pass a bill that will always positively impact the lives of Nigerians.

“What i am simply saying is that there must be room in the Senate for a man of differing tastes and talents like Prince Dr Ned Nwoko . Any arbitrary standard that ignores Prince Dr Ned Nwoko’s individual variations is certainly wrong.

“I am appealing to every Delta North voter to help send this man whose characteristics is so far from the norm of other Nigerian politicians.” Dr. Okobah detailed.
