Delta police repel kidnap attempt on lawmaker, comb forest in search of runaway gunmen
The police in Agbor Ika South local government area of Delta state have successfully repelled a kidnap attempt on the member representing Ika south state constituency at the Delta state house of assembly.
Festus Okoh, aka Chukky Dandy is the member representing Ika south in the state house of assembly.
The kidnap attempt which the police foiled took place last night along the federal highway between Asaba and Agbor. The police fought gallantly against the kidnappers and prevented the kidnap from taking place.
The police public relations officer, Edafe Bright, confirmed the attempted kidnap but gave kudos to the police for their bravery in preventing the kidnap of the assembly member.
