The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has defeated All Progressives Congress (APC), Labour Party (LP) and Accord, in Unit 8, Ward 8, in Nkeze Primary school, Idumuje-Ugboko, the polling unit of Prince Ned Nwoko, the Delta North senator-elect.
Recall that the senator-elect, a high profilist PDP member, had earlier revealed that he looks forward to PDP’s victory in Delta state.
Results from his polling unit is evident that his anticipation may have been fueled by strategic grassroot approach and Deltans loyalty to PDP, as the ruling party floored APC, LP and others in both Governorship and House of Assembly polls in his polling unit.
