A Delta governorship aspirant, under the umbrella of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Evangelist Solomon Sunday Oruarefe, has said he is in the race to represent the youthful change agent that the people of Delta state desire in the 2023 gubernatorial election.
Evangelist Oruarefe made this known during his consultation visit to the PDP state chairman, Olorogun Kingsley Esiso in Sapele, Sapele local government area of the state.

officially informed the dtate party chairman of his desire to contest the governorship primaries.
Evangelist Oruarefe commended the state chairman Olorogun Kingsley Esiso for his unrelenting commitment to making the PDP a strong force in the state.
He explained that his dream is to give Delta youths, women, and men a strong leadership base that would revamp all sectors of the state’s economy and build on what the incumbent governor has done.
The governorship hopeful stressed that he would consolidate on the achievements of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa if given the mandate to be the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party,PDP in the state.
He urged Deltans to continue to support PDP in the state in order to continue to enjoy the dividend of democracy, noting that it is only the PDP that can move the state forward.
On his part, the state chairman Olorogun Kingsley Esiso noted that PDP does not discriminate as the party would give everyone the opportunity to aspire.
He added that his mandate as party chairman would remain to ensure everyone gets a level playing field.
The PDP chairman also reinterated the commitment of the party to fielding credible candidates who would consolidate on the achievements of the Okowa- led administration.
