Three Delta governorship aspirants, Kingsley Otuaro, deputy governor; Peter Mrakpor, former commissioner for justice and Omizu Odebala staged a walkout as the counting of votes was in progress.
At the beginning of voting, all the 13 aspirants, excluding Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, who stepped down prior to the election, were seated under one canopy.
But as soon as vote sorting and counting began, the three left the Stephen Keshi Stadium in quick succession. First to leave was Odebala, then Otuaro and lastly Mrakpor left.
These three aspirants left while vote counting was in progress. For now, one cannot tell why they walked out of the venue.
Details will emerge later.
