Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Olorogun Barrister Kenneth Gbagi has called on all Deltans to take the interest of Delta state as their personal project.
In a statement made available to Emerald News on Monday, Olorogun Gbagi, the biggest investor in Delta, said Deltans should take the interest of their children and children yet unborn very serious, noting that their future welfare should be paramount to them.
Gbagi, a former education minister, who is very passionate over the wellbeing of Deltans, said: “I have decided to take this sacrifice and step of faith in God to contest the 2023 election under the platform of SDP” with a view to transforming the state for the good of all residents.
He said: “I will be contesting election for the first time in my life in the 2023 general election against all the fallacies that I have been contesting election.”
“Youths of Delta, participate in your destiny, let no one deceive you. Go right now, take your friends, school mates and persons of your age who are youths and ensure you collect your PVC and decide who governs your state from 2023.
“Stop grumbling and shape your destiny in the direction as you want it to be. Join me for us to reclaim our state where every youth will be gainfully engaged. Where our institutions will work again and teachers’ salaries will be paid promptly.
“Pensioners will not be owed their live savings that ought to guarantee their up keep after retirement. Having done my mathematics as governor come 2023 within 300 days there will be no pensioner owed a kobo in Delta state.”
