Delta2023: Where Latimore goofed, why his writing on who to be governor lacked proper research

Our attention has been drawn to a reckless statement credited to Fred Latimore who in his presumptuousness and misdemeanor arrogate to himself such tenacity to set standards for who governs Delta state.

The said Fred Latimore, a runaway Delta state House of Assembly aspirant, a political sycophant with unstable character disconcertedly present his ignorant postulations on social media that Okowa’s successor must not necessarily be an Industrialist. It should be understood that Latimore is afraid of hunger, and poverty because he is pitiably jobless outside politics.

For the records, Delta State yearns for a successful and established Industrialist like MKO Abiola, not Jobmen, recall that Moshood Kashimawo Abiola was an Industrialist and a businessman in his time, he amassed an immense private fortune and became the owner of a publishing house, a newspaper syndicate, and an airline, among other enterprises.

He was voted as the International Businessman of the Year in 1988. During the June 12 Election in 1993, Christians and Muslims voted for him because he was an Industrialist.

Late Bashir Othman Tofa, was the presidential candidate of the defunct National Republican Convention (NRC), the challenger of Chief MKO Abiola, he was also an Industrialist and businesses man.

Former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar GCON is a Nigerian politician and businessman, Adedapo Oluseun Abiodun is a Nigerian businessman and politician, who has been the governor of Ogun State since winning the 2019 general elections.

Femi Otedola, a Nigerian multi-millionaire also nursed governorship ambition three years ago. Others are too numerous to mention.

The entire gamut of Latimore’s reckless uttrances was a case of political bigotry preceding from the stables of his frustration and fear of being useless after Governor Okowa’s administration.

Latimore is cash and carry political jobber who cannot boast of a cassava farm or pure water store anywhere in this life, yet he arrogate to himself the position to dictate who should be a kingmaker in Delta State, he remains insignificant and childish as long as Delta Politics is a concern.

Some persons are so useless outside politics that even Latimore could downplay his academic qualifications perhaps, acquired through black market school which could only serve better as media Assistant or campaign manager to Agberos and taxi drivers.

The sycophant is too disoriented to know that a successful Industrialist could govern Delta State without abandoning his business empire as prayed by Latimore who perhaps wants the frontline aspirant to abandon his investments for his sorry personality, No job for you.

Okowa’s successor must be concerted enough to Industrialize the state, confront poverty, create job opportunities, and even employ jobless Latimore at least to establish a cassava processing mill for him to manage since he has no idea of managing anything outside sycophancy.

Latimore should bury his head in shame for implying that a degree holder should not be a successor of Okowa, it Shows how unschooled and primitive some people could be. For the records all Governors of Delta State since the inception of democracy till date are well educated and refined, not street rascals or black market school certificate holders.

The political hustler should direct his bad-mouth and his unmerited appointment to a productive venture, Delta State will be industrialized and better.
