Elucidating The Impactful Roles of Dr. Michael Nwoko in Public Service (Part 1)

Dr. Michael Nwoko (The Political Oshobe), Chief of Staff to Distinguished Senator Prince Ned Munir Nwoko, is a seasoned public servant and a dedicated political figure who has made significant strides in his career, particularly through his impactful role as Senior Special Assistant on Health Monitoring in the previous administration in Delta State. His appointment to this position speaks volumes about his leadership abilities, his commitment to the public good, and his deep understanding of the challenges facing the health sector in the state and its people.

Commitment to Governance and Public Service

Throughout his service in the past administration in Delta State, Dr. Nwoko consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to the principles of good governance, transparency, and accountability. He worked tirelessly to ensure that the policies of Delta State Government, particularly the health sector, were implemented efficiently, with the welfare of the citizens at the forefront of every decision. Dr. Nwoko’s role as SSA to Delta State Government was marked by a relentless pursuit of development in key sectors such as education, healthcare, and infrastructure. He recognized that the foundation for long-term growth in Delta State layed a solid foundation in empowering the people with the tools they need to succeed. Under his watch as SSA on Health Monitoring, several initiatives were launched to enhance healthcare delivery, and the health sector was effectively strengthened to meet the growing demands of a rapidly changing society. He captured the entire health care delivery system in Delta State under a close monitoring circuit and carried out period monitoring and evaluation of health care facilities in the state which includes Primary health care centers, Secondary and tertiary health care facilities with comprehensive reports to the Governor, the ministry of health and its agencies for the purpose of implementation.
