Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Delta state, Olorogun Barrister Kenneth Gbagi, on Sunday stormed the party’s national secretariat ahead of the special national convention of the party holding in Abuja.
This is the first appearance of Olorogun Gbagi after emerging as the SDP governorship candidate in Delta state last week Thursday.
The special national convention of the party is for the election of its presidential candidate for the general election which is billed to hold on June 8, 2022 at the popular Eagle Square in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
At the party’s national Secretariat, the former minister of state for education, Olorogun Gbagi was among other top dignitaries of the party who have arrived the nation’s capital for the convention.
Also, the member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Dailadi Baido, governorship hopeful for Taraba state with the national chairman, Alhaji Shehu Musa Gabam (Makaman Tilden) and Ambassador Rufus B.Aiyenigba.
Others are the national publicity secretary, Senator Mohammed Alkali (Sardauna Gumel), national vice chairman, North-West and Hon. Abdullahi Kani, national vice chairman, North-Central were already at the national secretariat of SDP on Sunday June 5, 2022.
Emerald News reports that the national chairman of the party, Alhaji Shehu Musa Gabam inaugurated the party’s special national convention planning committee chaired by a former governor of Ekiti state, Chief Segun Oni.
