The meeting between Chukwuma Soludo, former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria and youths of Isuofia in Augusta, Anambra state was yesterday disrupted.
Several gunmen attacked the meeting, killing three police officers and sending panic into the mind of others, hence ending the meeting abruptly
The Anambra state commissioner for public utilities, Emeka Ezenwanne, was kidnapped and taken away to unknown destination.
Reacting to the development this morning, Professor Soludo posted on Facebook thus:
“Several men with guns attacked my meeting with the youth in Isuofia community in Aguata, Anambra.
“As a result, 3 policemen were killed while the state Commissioner for Public Utilities, Emeka Ezenwanne, was taken away by the gunmen.
“The police commissioner has given assurances that every detail about the incident will be made public shortly.”
