Gunmen believed to be against Democratic tenet in the South East region have reportedly attacked and disrupted Labour Party meeting in Awgu Local Government Area of Enugu State.
The hoodlums numbering about 10 were said to be armed with guns and machetes, and invaded the venue where Labour Party members were having their grassroots stakeholders meeting.
Eyewitness’s account disclosed that no casualty was recorded but the party members were reportedly wounded as they scamper for safety while trying to escape after the gunmen opened gunfire on the unsuspecting party members.
