A human rights activist, one Harrison Gwamnishu, has posted on Facebook the condition of a woman who was thrown out of the house by her husband at the late hours of Wednesday night in Akwa Ibom state.
The woman is a nursing mother with one month old baby. Despite pleas from people around, the husband turned deaf ears to all entreaties and cast the woman from the house with the baby into the cold night.

“A nursing mother carrying her child was thrown out last night by her husband. Her plea to stay was denied.
“As at 10:25pm yesterday, She was still out in cold with her one month old daughter.
“I tried speaking with the husband but he refused talking to me.
