The Independent National Electoral Commission has released the summary of registered voters for the 2023 general elections.
In a tweet on it’s verified twitter handle, the INEC said that a total of 87,209,007 Permanent Voter Cards have been collected across the country while a total of 6,259,229 falls under the category of uncollected.
INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, announced the development on Thursday 23rd February, 2023, during a media briefing at the national collation center in Abuja.
He noted that the number increased after the Commission extended the deadline from January 29th to February 5th, 2023.
