A coordinator of Labour Party and an indigene of Delta state has revealed that his party members have rejected the Delta Labour Party guber candidate and have thrown their weight behind Kenneth Gbagi, candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the state.
The development was revealed by Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi during an interactive session with membership of Christ Anglican Church in Sapele. Gbagi told the church members that people are no longer interested in party but ability of candidates to deliver their campaign promises.
In a trending video posted by Rero TV, Gbagi said: “A supporter of Labour Party came with Bishops to have breakfast with me. He is not a bishop but came with Bishops.
“He demanded to be allowed to speak. He said I coordinate Peter Obi’s campaign in America and Nigeria. He said did you see the rally of Obi in Agbor. It was big. We will vote Peter Obi for president but all Peter Obi’s followers have rejected their governorship candidate in Delta state.
“We will vote for you. It is no longer party, people are looking for who has the capacity to deliver in Delta state. Ask me any question today. The problem is not mine but yours.”
