Marriage they say is not a bed of roses as a man (name withheld) was reportedly seen flogging his wife indiscriminately with his belt in Asaba, Delta state.
Emerald News gathered that fight started between the couple because his wife expressed sadness over incessant call he usually receives from his concubines.
An eye witness told our reporter that the man’s wife has, since October 2020, been in regrets concerning her husband’s escapades.
Our source said that the said man used to be poor before he was recently blessed with abundant finances.
According to our source, his wife said that since she married her husband about five years ago, she had been working so hard to help him financially but she got disappointed that her husband that was used to returning home early now keeps late nights because of his financial blessings.
Emerald News gathered that when their neighbours entered their apartment to separate the fight, the man walked them out of his house as he continued his beating.
