The Executive Chairman, Khana local government area in Rivers State, Hon. Thomas Bariere Ph.D, says he has been so blessed and inspired by Pastor Kumuyi’s messages and teachings during the Global Crusade held at Birabi Memorial Grammar School, Bori, Rivers State.
The chairman who was a consistent participant at the crusade, expressed the belief that by virtue of the crusade staged in his domain, things will turn around for the people of Bori, Khana and Ogoni.
Speaking with newsmen at the final day of the crusade, Bariere appreciated Pastor Kumuyi and the Deeper Christian Life Ministry for considering Bori a worthy centre for the religious programme.
“Never have I been so inspired like this. The simplicity and the manner in which Pastor Kumuyi preaches makes it possible for even the deaf to understand.
“As an individual I have learned so much from the wealth of experience of the man of God.
“I want to say that we in Bori, Khana and Ogoni are highly blessed to have the man of God, Pastor William Kumuyi and the entire Deeper Christian Life Ministry host a crusade here.
“We have seen the goodness of God and His hands in all the affairs. We are very confident and hopeful that things are going to turn around for the better. In time past we have had challenges in different areas of our community and individual lives. But I am convinced that by virtue of this crusade here in Bori, all those challenges have been conquered.
“On behalf of government and the people of Ogoni, I would like to say a big thank you to pastor Kumuyi and the leadership of Deeper Christian Life Ministry for considering Ogoni land for the crusade.”
