A young girl, Miss Hope Jude, who was raped recently on her way from a vigil has bitterly felt dejected and rejected to have been raped by miscreants.
An eye witness told Emerald News that Miss Jude was a devout Christian who took service of God very seriously but has been in regrets why God should allow her to meet bad boys when she was coming from the church after a night programme.
Our source said that immediately she had the ugly encounter with the two misguided boys at Kubua, FCT, she ran back to her church and told her pastor that she would not come to church again.
According to our source, her reason was that why should God allow her to experience such a thing when he knows her as a devout Christian.
‘The worst part of my experience is that I was raped while coming back from a church vigil. How will I face my friends who are already laughing at my dedication to the service of God”, she was quoted as saying.
Emerald News gathered that the pastor of her church who was very sad about the girl’s encounter prayed and consoled the girl with some words of God.
Our source said that the pastor of the girl and other ministers in the church promised to dig deep to the root of the problem as well as praying that God will summon the miscreants to the church for repentance.
