The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has assured that the February 25 Presidential and National Assembly polls will hold nationwide.
The INEC Chairman Spoke to Journalists after a visit to trainee Corps members, where he asked them to be loyal to Nigeria, and not political parties adding that on no account should they leave the BVAS in the custody of another. He warned that the corps members are going to be tracked to ensure accountability.
Professor Mahmood Yakubu, allayed fears of the election being postponed, saying the commission is working closely with the CBN and security agencies insisting that the environment would be secured for elections to hold peacefully nationwide.
The INEC boss said that they will perform three activities at the ICC, which has been serving as the national collation center for the collation, announcement of winners and presentations of the Certificate of Returns to the President and Vice-elect, as well as Senators and House of representatives members elect.
