According to reports, hundreds of All Progressives Congress (APC) party members, including their youth leader, Comrade Oba Emmanuel, better known as Atinga, openly renounced APC, as they embrace the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), in Aboh, Ndokwa East local government area, during PDP campaign rally in the LGA, on Friday, 20 January, 2023.
In a picture, which is currently trending in various Anioma platforms, Comrade Emmanuel was seen, lifted high by happy looking Prince Ned Nwoko, the Delta North PDP senatorial candidate, Hon. Nnamdi Ezechi, PDP House of Representatives candidate, Ndokwa Federal constituency, and Dr. Michael Nwoko, alias Political Oshobe, Ned Nwoko campaign organisation Director, Contact and Mobilization.
Stating why he left APC for PDP, the former APC youth leader said, “Over time, I have come to realise that, APC is not ready to win election in Delta state. They don’t have any structure. APC is more like a fraudulent arrangement to destabilise Governor Ifeanyi Okowa. Truth be told, PDP is the only party that has what it takes to manage Delta state. PDP is Delta, Delta is PDP, I am glad to be among the winning team. Together, we will deliver all round victory for PDP.”
Emmanuel also lauded Prince Ned Nwoko, stressing that, majority have benefited from his philanthropic projects.
“There is no local government in Anioma without Ned Nwoko’s beneficiaries. It is not possible. He is a man of the people. His past records speak for him.” Comrade Emmanuel noted.
