The Delta North senator-elect, Prince Ned Nwoko, on Monday, 20 March, joined Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Delta state sitting governor, Rt.Hon.Sheriff Oborevwori, Delta state governor-elect and a host of other People’s Democratic Party (PDP) members at State’s government house, Asaba, to celebrate party’s poll victory in the state.
Speaking to Newsmen at the event, Nwoko, whose physical and mental efforts were significant in PDP’s victory in Delta state, especially in his constituency, Delta North, described party’s victory as “The people’s resolve”.
He assured members and all Deltans that all elected officers will justify the confidence reposed in them. On his part, he promised effective and responsive governance.
Spotted in the mini victory party were, Engr.Emeka Nwaobi, Barr. Mrs Bridget Anyafulu, and Marilyn Daramola-Okowa, who won Aniocha North, Oshimili South and Ika North-East House of Assembly seats respectively.
