Pastor William Kumuyi the general superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry has been organizing this ongoing crusade since June 2021. Lives have been touched, souls have been saved and a lot of miracles have been wrought by God across continents of the world. One thing that is sure is that Pastor Kumuyi cannot go into any event without the directive of the God of heaven. He did not commence the crusade without the leading of God, hence in the midst of some complaints, the pastor has forged on and God has been doing miracles everywhere.
God has supernaturally answered his prayers to the extent that sick people in faraway countries from Nigeria or communities far removed from the host centre, people in those places have received the touch of God in their lives. All kinds of miracles have been received during Pastor Kumuyi’s crusades.There has been joy and jubilation across the globe. The crusade has held in Abuja, Port Harcourt, Taraba, Enugu, Lagos, Abeokuta, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, Ibadan and lives of participants both at the host centre and satellite centres have received God’s blessings. Pastor Kumuyi’s crusades have shown that God can do miracles anywhere in the world. It has shown that God’s power transcends international boundaries and souls are saved with bountiful miracles.
Testimonies of healings of all kinds have poured in from countries in Europe, Asia, America, Africa, Australia and across cities and villages in Nigeria. People who have lost hopes have their hopes restored and dead and dashed dreams revived. White Americans, Canadians, British and other European nationals have given great testimonies of God’s miracles in their lives. Sicknesses that have consumed so much money but with hopes getting dashed have received instant healings at no financial cost to the recipient in various parts of the world. This happens with prayers made from any location in Nigeria and miracles begin to flow immediately after the prayers of the man of God.
One thing that is making the crusade penetrating the global community is the application of high technology. The church uses all forms of technology to push the teachings of the general superintendent to homes and families. So, people can be in their homes and they get connected as individuals, families and the end of the prayers, miracles begin to roll in. Testimonies of miracles flow from all countries and lives are beautified with some shedding tears of joy. So, the miracle crusades of Pastor Kumuyi are for good as many people across the world have experienced peace of mind and salvation for their souls. Hard to be reached areas in some difficult countries have been penetrated and you see whites given testimonies about the goodness of God in their lives.
God has used Pastor Kumuyi as the apostle of this generation as many assemblies across the globe have keyed into his crusades and their lives have never been the same. Governors have also abandoned their busy schedules and participated in the crusades. In Ogun state, Governor Dapo Abiodun attended the Abeokuta crusade. In Akwa Ibom, Governor Emmanuel Udom participated in the crusade. Former President Olusegun Obasanjo also attended the crusade in Abueokuta, the Ogun state capital. Pastor Kumuyi’s lifestyle and his closeness to God have endeared him to many world leaders and the common people.
Now, for the Abia crusade that has been planned to begin from Tuesday May 24 to Sunday May 29, God will do less than what He has done in other states in Nigeria. Although the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has issued a threat message, advising the pastor to stay away from Eastern states because of the insecurity in the region. The statement did not outrightly tell Kumuyi to stay away but advised him to consider the security situation and shelve the crusade. IPOB said members of the community of unknown gunmen can infiltrate the crusade ground and cause havoc which may, at the end, be blamed on IPOB members. Emma Powerful, the spokesman of the group rather advised Kumuyi to pray for the region for God to bring peace to the zone.
While the IPOB has expressed its concern over the security situation in Abia state and the South east generally, Pastor Kumuyi will need to consult God before taking any action, whether to shelve it or go ahead with the crusade. But one thing is certain Pastor Kumuyi cannot cancel the crusade based on the advice of mortal men. He knows his God. He will need to consult God before he will take a decision. But if the answer of God allows him to go ahead with the crusade, there are two possibilities that will occur because God will be in charge of the crusade from beginning to the end. God will prove himself to be God and will disgrace the enemies.
One of the possibilities is that the crusade will run from beginning to the end without any security breach and without getting lost. God will make the evil men not to remember the crusade until it is finished. It has not been heard, despite the crowd that troops to Kumuyi’s crusade, that one person was lost or injured. No, it has never been heard across Nigeria. This is because God is in charge and he cannot shame his messenger. At the end, everybody will be happy. When Jesus died, soldiers were put to guard the grave because he told his disciples that he would rise up on the third day. They attempted to prevent the resurrection, but at the appointed time, all the soldiers fell asleep and the Lord rose up triumphantly and ascended to glory. The soldiers on guard were unaware of his resurrection. That is the power of God in action.
The second possibility will blow the mind of all Nigerians and everybody across the globe. God is greater than the greatest of men on earth. A few years back, Pastor Kumuyi was in part of Rivers state, cultists on their own surrendered their lives to Christ and abandoned cultism. In the crusade, if the unknown gunmen turn up to carry out any nefarious activity, their presence will be turned to miracles. They will surrender their lives to Christ, drop their guns and there will be jubilation in the entire South eastern states of Nigeria. God cannot be mocked by ordinary mortal man whom he created out of the dust of the earth. It is not possible. There will certainly be harvest of repentant unknown gunmen at the crusade ground in Abia state.
These are the two possibilities. But it depends on the direction of God to the general superintendent, Pastor William Folurunsho Kumuyi. Any decision he takes that is the will of God, it should not be questioned. So, let’s keep our fingers akimbo and wait.
